The Poco F6, successor to the Poco F5, is set to launch in India soon. The announcement is scheduled for May 23. There are rumors of a Pro version, but it might be limited to global markets. The price of the upcoming Poco F6 series has been leaked online.
Poco F6: Specifications
The Poco F6 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, making it the first phone in India with this new Qualcomm chip. The company claims that the device will deliver “God speed” performance. The Snapdragon 8 chip shares the same architecture as its flagship sibling, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, but operates at different clock speeds.
According to leaks, the Poco F6 may feature a large 6.7-inch 1.5K OLED screen, a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging.
Poco F6: Design
Poco has shared teasers of the Poco F6 design on social media. The mid-range device retains the two large camera sensors at the back, curved edges, and boxy design of its predecessor. However, the material or finish on the back appears to have changed. More details will be available when the device launches.
Poco F6: Expected Price
The Poco F6 Pro was listed on Amazon at EUR 619 (around Rs 55,800) for the 16GB RAM + 1TB storage model. Lower RAM and storage variants are expected to be more affordable. If the Pro version is released in India, it will likely be cheaper due to lower Indian pricing.
The Poco F6 is expected to cost under Rs 40,000 in India. While there are no price leaks for the regular variant, it is likely to be more expensive than the Poco F5 (priced at Rs 29,999) due to the premium chip and other features.
