OnePlus rolls out OxygenOS 14.0.0.701 update for OnePlus 11 smartphones. This update includes a long list of improvements including home screen changes, new touch controls, new animations, system updates, and more.
The update is available for OnePlus 11 users in India and will roll out to users worldwide in the coming weeks. Users can check for updates on their OnePlus 11 smartphone by going to Settings > About device > OxygenOS > Check for updates.

New smooth animation
- Add background zoom and seamless icon transitions on app launch and exit for a smoother visual experience.
- Add a jump animation effect when sliding down the notification bar, and optimize the layer effect of quick settings icons and widgets to achieve a more natural and elegant visual effect.
- Optimize home screen icons and widget transition animations, and add a zoom animation for the wallpaper when the device is unlocked.
- Added zoom animation for the wallpaper and gradual brightness changes when the screen turns on/off.
- Optimize background color and Gaussian blur effect for Quick Settings, Notification Drawer, Home Drawer and Global Search.
- Optimize the transition animation when the clock and lock screen buttons disappear when the device is unlocked.
- The animation when entering and exiting global search has been optimized to ensure a smoother and more consistent visual experience.
New touch control experience
- Add a transition animation when exiting the app by swiping to the side of the screen before launching the app.
- Add a transition animation to swipe from one side of the page to return to the previous page before opening a new page.
- Add transition animations when you swipe in from the side of the screen or swipe up to exit an app in landscape mode.
- You can now tap the bottom right corner of large folders to view more apps.
- You can now drag down the app icon in large folders to open the app with just one action.
- Improved responsiveness of touch controls. Taps and swipes on the Home screen and recent tasks screen are now faster and more stable.
- Improved touch responsiveness in application scenarios. For example, when you open and close apps, start and end current tasks, and switch between apps by dragging the navigation bar.
- Optimize animations when using large folders. Dragging apps to the home screen is now smoother.

- Add a horizontal layout to the lock screen clock.
- You can now choose not to display songs when you swipe a lock screen pattern to unlock the device.
