“Arushi Sharma, known for her role in Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal, and her husband Vaibhav Vishant, a casting director, recently shared their love story in an interview. They told how their romance turned into marriage and how their lives evolved thereafter.
Arushi Sharma married Vaibhav Vishant on April 18 in Chail, Himachal Pradesh. Later, the couple announced their wedding by sharing fascinating photos of the ceremony.
After starting their married life, the couple shared their impressions about the romantic journey that led to their marriage. Vaibhav also expressed his desire to bring their love story to the screen.
In a recent interview to News 18 Showsha, Vaibhav Vishant described his relationship with Arushi Sharma as a “whirlwind of emotions” that he hopes to bring to the screen one day. He said they had been friends for a long time. He was sure of how he felt about Arushi, but she was reluctant to trust anyone for life.
Vaibhav said, “It was a lot to ask. But over time, she developed feelings too. It’s really a love story that I would love to write.”
Vaibhav also revealed that whenever he brought up the topic of marriage, Arushi would avoid the conversation. According to him, he did so because he couldn’t believe what was happening. However, he believes that certain things are predestined and that there were “certain moments” that paved the way for them.
Despite Arushi’s reluctance to talk about marriage, Vaibhav kept telling him that it was time to get married. In response, Arushi revealed, “In the new year, he told random people that we would get married this year, even though we had no intention of getting married. And then it happened.”
The couple also shared the reaction of Arushi’s parents to their relationship. They supported us from the beginning.” According to Arushi, parents often question their children’s partners, but her parents were convinced that Vaibhav was the right person for her.
Vaibhav added that it was Arushi’s mother who first called him for an interview. He added, “It was her mother’s initiative that set everything in motion. Thanks to our parents we got married today.” His parents must have felt a whole range of emotions when they heard from me and I still wonder how and when they accepted me into their family. It’s a question I keep thinking about.
Reflecting on life after her marriage, Arushi notices an obvious change, which her husband has also felt. Nevertheless, they want to enjoy every moment of that unique and special once-in-a-lifetime feeling. “We are enjoying this stage very much,” says the actress.
