Ampere Nexus Electric Scooter Launched At Rs 1.10 Lakh: 136 Km Range On Single Charge

The Ampere Nexus electric scooter has been unveiled, with prices starting from Rs 1.10 lakh.

The Ampere Nexus e-scooter will start being delivered from the latter half of May.

The Ampere Nexus has been introduced to the market by Greaves Electric Mobility, with a base price of Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in two versions – ST and EX, with the premium ST variant priced at Rs 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric scooter company has announced these as initial prices. In addition, Greaves Electric Mobility has started accepting bookings for the Ampere Nexus at Rs 9,999, with deliveries scheduled to start in the latter half of May.

The latest electric scooter from Ampere is designed and manufactured in India. It is reported to have undergone testing for over 1 lakh kilometres. Impressively, it has secured a spot in the India Book of Records for completing a ride from Kashmir to Kanyakumari (K2K). The Ampere Nexus is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen TFT display (in the ST variant) and boasts a top speed of 93kmph. The range of the 3kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery is claimed to be 136km.

The Nexus also features fast charging, taking just 3 hours and 22 minutes to fully charge. In addition to this, Ampere’s new e-scooter offers 5 riding modes and carries an IP67 rating. It comes with a front disc brake, and its motor is capable of delivering a peak power of 5bhp. The Nexus is available in 5 colour options – Zanskar Aqua, Indian Red, Lunar White, and Steel Grey.
