OPPO has introduced the latest addition to its K series, the OPPO K12x, in China. As the successor to the K11x, the new model features a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, marking a notable upgrade from the previous LCD display. It continues to use the Snapdragon 695 SoC and offers up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
The K12x comes pre-installed with Android 14 and ColorOS 14. It sports a 50MP main camera at the back, along with a 2MP camera for depth sensing. The phone includes an in-display fingerprint reader and is powered by a substantial 5500mAh battery, supporting 80W fast charging.

The OPPO K12x, available in Green and Grey, will go on sale from May 20th in China, with pre-orders already open. The pricing is as follows:
- 8GB/256GB: 1299 yuan (approx. USD 179 / Rs. 14,985).
- 12GB/256GB: 1499 yuan (approx. USD 207 / Rs. 17,295).
- 12GB/512GB: 1799 yuan (approx. USD 248 / Rs. 20,755).
Regarding the OnePlus Nord CE4 Lite, it’s speculated that the K12x might be released globally, including in India, under this name, following the pattern of the OnePlus Nord CE3 Lite, which was introduced in China as the OPPO K11x.
